LSA Productions is led by three visionary directors united by a passion for storytelling, innovation, and growing South African creative talent.
Our leadership combines expertise in the fields of directing, writing, cinematography, steadicam, and post production. Supported by a combined 17 years of lecturing experience, we use the expertise and understanding for research, learning and development to blend of creative vision with technical excellence to shapes every project we take on.
Founded on a love for bold, cinematic storytelling, LSA Productions creates high-quality content while empowering the next wave of South African filmmakers and creatives.

Sabrina Sciulli
Creative
Director
Sabrina Sciulli is a director, writer, and filmmaker with a BA in Cinematography and an Honours degree in Directing and Writing from AFDA. Her work spans short films, music videos, photography, and commercial content, where she brings together strong visual storytelling with thoughtful creative direction.
From concept development and scriptwriting to production and post-production, Sabrina is involved throughout the entire filmmaking process, ensuring every project is crafted with purpose and authenticity. Alongside her industry work, she has spent the past five years lecturing in film, mentoring emerging creatives while continuing to develop bold, cinematic stories that connect with audiences.
LLEWELLYN Duguid
Director of Photography
Llewellyn Duguid is a cinematographer, Steadicam operator, and Senior Cinematography Lecturer at AFDA Johannesburg with over seven years of professional experience in the film and television industry. Working across narrative films, commercials, corporate productions, and music videos, he combines technical precision with a cinematic approach to visual storytelling.
Holding an Honours degree in Motion Picture, Llewellyn is passionate about creating striking imagery while staying at the forefront of evolving camera technologies. Whether behind the camera or mentoring the next generation of filmmakers, his collaborative nature, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence continue to shape every production he is part of.
Dean Mbamba
Post Production Supervisor
Dean Mbamba is a production workflow specialist, colourist, Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Trainer, and Company Director at Light Saga Africa (LSA) Productions, where he also serves as the Post-Production Supervisor.
With over 12 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Dean specialises in post-production workflows, data management, colour grading, and Blackmagic systems across films, series, and music videos.
At LSA, he oversees post-production workflows and supports teams with colour grading, data management, and technical integration. He also trains individuals and post-production facilities in DaVinci Resolve and Blackmagic systems.
For any post-production needs, Dean is generally the first point of contact at LSA Productions.
